    Art Tully, age 72, obtained his 2nd Class Licence in 1943 and served as radio operator in the Canadian Merchant Navy in WWII on the S.S. Kawartha Park. 

    Received Amateur Radio Licence VE3BKD in 1946 but gave it up in 1950 to join Trans Canada Air Lines as a relief Radio Operator in various locations in Ontario (North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, Etc.).  Later was transferred to Milton airport in Toronto as assistant flight dispatcher. 
    Left TCA in 1960 for the general Insurance agency in Midland, Ontario until retired in 1985.  Now a Widower living in a mobile home on Little Lake in Midland. 

    Present rig is a Yaesu FT101E  Antennas consist of a G5RV, 20 meter Bazooka and a 2 Meter 3 Element J Pole.

    Art is active on the Royal Navy Amateur Radio Net on 20 meters, Air Canada, TCA Net
and is a Pow Wow Club Member
