Married to my most patient and understanding wife Birgit for 21 Years and have 2 Daughters Melanie and Jennifer and have 3 Grandchildren.

Currently serving with the Canadian Armed Forces and just recently returned from my 5th tour oversea's, this time serving in Afghanistan. All my other tours have been in the Balkans either in Bosnia or Kosovo. I have been most fortunate to have also been posted to Germany and to The Netherlands.

Main Amateur Radio interests are Rag Chewing, Chasing DX and also I enjoy doing Contests. Can be found on all bands from 160 - 6m. Also enjoy playing RTTY and trying to master the paddles with CW.
