I was born in Montreal West and moved to Hemmingford in 1947 when my Father retired. I joined the Customs service on July 1st 1955 and retired in 1990 after a very interesting 35 years.

In 1957 I took flying lessons in Swanton Vermont and was part owner of an Aeronca Champ 7AC which we bought for $850.

I was asked by the U.S. Border Patrol on several occasions to fly along the International Boundary to look for signs of activity in the snow, the border was clear cut 40 feet on either side.

I have always had an interest in Aircraft and presently working on a Scrapbook on WW-2 Aircraft from various Countries.
