I was born (1946) and raised in Quebec City, leaving there for Montreal when I was 20 years old.

I moved from Montreal to Mississauga in 1986 to work on the the CBC Broadcast Centre in downtown Toronto. I was responsible for designing the conduit and cable tray system for all the radio and TV studios. We have over 50,000 feet of tray and conduit in the building  ....... just for the studios!

I was a technical Installer for many years, then was promoted into the office doing conduit and cable tray layouts for various sites.

I was subsequently promoted to run the Installation Department during the installation phase of the project. It was the highlight of  my career, and something of which I am very proud.

I retired from the CBC at the end of June 1997 after 30 years. The CBC was good to me and I have no regrets.

I've been a ham since 1992 and finally passed my 12WPM code last April. My dad is VE9AG and has been an amateur since 1936. We have a sked at 0800 and 1900 ET every day on 7.094.

Other hobbies include record collecting ....... I have about 6000 45 RPM's and about 6000 LP's. One of my retirement projects is to catalogue the collection.

I'm interested in all types of music, although my 45 collection is mainly from the mid-fifties through the early 60's.

I'm married, have 2 married daughters, one living close by, the other living in Ottawa.
